Research interests: foreign policy of Kazakhstan, Central Asia, the Caucasus, foreign policy of the Russian Federation, foreign policy of Caspian countries, Caspian energy resources.
Scopus: “Kazakhstan diplomacy in defining the legal status of the Caspian Sea: 1991-2017”
