Students of the Department of International Relations and Tourism, Faculty of Tourism and Languages won the international competition: “International Relations: culture of peaceful dialogue”.
On May 22-25, 2024, the International Competition “International Relations: Culture of Peaceful Dialogue” was held in Ashgabat with the participation of students and undergraduates of higher educational institutions of Central Asia, the Caspian States, Iran, the Republic of Turkey and the People’s Republic of China.
The competition of young intellectuals is one of the first events in the context of supporting the ideas and principles reflected in the UN General Assembly resolution declaring 2025 the International Year of Peace and Trust, which was unanimously adopted on the initiative of Turkmenistan in March 2024.
Our students Abdulayeva Aruzhan, Zakaria Jasmina, Etrek Aina, under the guidance of senior lecturer Gulzira Burkitovna Esetova, were participants in this competition and took the main places. Among them, Abdulayeva Aruzhan became the owner of a gold medal and a Diploma of the 1st degree. Jasmina and Aina received certificates and prizes.
It is noted that the Olympiad was held in two stages. The participants were evaluated in individual and team work, which they, in turn, completed successfully.
According to the students, it was a wonderful experience for them, which helped them to increase their intellectual baggage and replenish their knowledge. The delegations of different countries were unanimous in their opinion that the Olympiad was held at a high level and strengthened the ties between the countries.
