The 22nd of September at the Azerbaijan Center of Yessenov University (room E206) a curatorial hour was held on the topics: The main purpose of the curatorial hour is a direct form of communication between the curator and the group. This meeting can be held in the form of a group meeting, educational hour, excursion or thematic lecture, which contributes to the development of students’ cognitive interests. Students are expanding their range of knowledge that is not reflected in the curriculum. The object of discussion can be any phenomenon or event. This can be a variety of information: about interpersonal relationships, communication culture, a healthy lifestyle, the importance of physical activity, etc. Monitoring of class attendance, current and semester progress of students in the group was also carried out, analysis of the reasons for the students’ lag and assistance in eliminating these reasons was carried out. It was noted that the underachievement of students is naturally related to their individual characteristics and the conditions in which their development takes place.
